Living la Dolce Vita in Venice
On the way to Venice we stopped in Pisa to see the leaning tower. I'm not surprised it's on a lean to be honest, it was so windy there that I almost fell over!
We arrived in Venice at about 4:30pm and it was already dark which was no fun. However, as it turns out we're staying in a 4.5 star hotel, which is very nice (pics below - champagne on arrival, and not just a glass but the whole bottle). Also interesting to note after using the public transport here is that even though it is called a bus in Venice, it's actually a boat! Lol.
We went for a lovely gondola ride today, it was fairly cold, but still a nice way to see the traditional areas of Venice (pics below - the one of us was to prove that we were both alive and dry after getting into the gondola). After that we went for a wander, would just like to let anyone planning a trip here know that it is very easy to get lost, there are so many passage ways! But it was ok because there are shops everywhere to keep you occupied :)
Would also like to add at this stage that we are less than impressed with our travel agent, and he can rest assured that he will definitely be hearing from us upon our return! Really did not appreciate having to spend the first half of Pauls birthday fixing a major mistake he made!

That's quite some bed, is that where the magic happens Cupcake?? Are you engaged yet??
The photo on the Gondola is really cute! Megan and you appear made for each other. You should frame it. :)
