Paul and Megan's Eurotrip

Spent the day sightseeing in Paris today. Started off at the Eiffel Tower, we climbed the stairs to the first floor (this was as far as I made it as I am sick at the moment and my lungs were in a bit of pain by then). The view of the city was great, everything kind of looked the same though. We walked back past at the end of the day, and personally I think that the Eiffel Tower looks much nicer at night. We also had this crazy pizza cone while we were there, it's a pizza but in the shape of an ice cream cone, very tasty.

The next stop was The Louvre. It's hard to describe just how big it is, you could spend a whole week looking through it. Very beautiful though. We didn't have very long so we had a wonder through one of the sculpture sections and a squizz at the Mona Lisa (a lot smaller than we expected). We also had lunch here, which was very yummy :)

Then on to Notre Dame. Very impressive. Neither of is are very religious, but the building was beautiful.

Last stop was the Champs Elysee & the Arc De Triomphe, both of which are very pretty at night. The Arc De Triomphe was a little scary, I don't think I could ever drive in Paris, there are often no lines on the road which pretty much makes it a free for all and then you get cars all over the place :s
